Introduction:

I am a freelance communications specialist providing clients with the opportunity to concentrate on core business activities.   Communicating to employees and clients is an important part of any business strategy but it can be the task that takes up time or can sometimes get forgotten.

My Background:

Having worked in the Corporate world for 13+years and seen many changes, I wanted a job where I knew I could make a difference and one that I was passionate about – talking to and assisting clients and using my strengths and knowledge I had gained over the years to provide freelance communications support.

Experience I have gained includes:

– Supporting and advising the Exec team in its aspirations relating to client experience, cultural change, business strategy and development
– Channel Management: working to ensure all communication channels are effectively managed and reviewed, recommending and developing new communication channels as appropriate
– Developing event messages, agenda and content and ensuring a smooth delivery of such events
– Understanding client satisfaction drivers and implementing agreed plans to support business growth and improve client satisfaction
– Running internal employee opinion/engagement campaigns
– Delivering internal communications that translate strategy into action.

Prior to that I worked for a PR Agency account managing all press activity for the house building industry, including press releases, photo opportunities, as well as project managing promotional events.
